PLOT:
In a distant future, humanity is reduced to living underground in villages without any contact with the surface world nor with the other villages. Simon is an orphan who lives in the village of Jiiha, and is an outcast digger who one day finds a glowing object in the shape of auger. Kamina, another orphan, but it is older, instead of dreaming to visit the area. However, Kamina, Simon and others are discovered by the old boys of the village: Simon and Kamina is jailed by digger resumed his work, this time finding a small robot buried underground. Simon is Kamina escape, but at that moment a huge and monstrous robot destroys the time of the cave and begins to destroy the village. At the same time a girl, Yoko, follows him trying in vain to damage it. Here, the three discover that the robot was just one of many "Gunmen" robot driven by the bizarre appearance by the "man-beast", which are located on the surface and cause distress to the few humans that live underground. The trio decides to leave for the headquarters of the man-beast, and along the perilous journey, many others will join the original group in the fight against the beast-men and their sovereign Lordgenome.
